Ansley Park
One of Atlanta’s oldest neighborhoods, Ansley Park is located west of Piedmont Park and east of Midtown. It is considered to be a center of attraction for many who visit or live in the city. In 2011 it was designated one of America’s top ten neighborhoods because of its architecturally distinguished homes, open spaces and compact design. Things to Do
The Botanical Gardens are a must see. Not only do they have a children’s garden, a Southern Seasons garden, an edible garden, a Japanese garden, and a Levy Parterre, they also host events throughout the year. If you’re looking for a fun day out with the kids, you’ll love Atlanta Center for the Puppetry Arts. The center has regular performances for all ages, as well as special events. Every Atlantan has a soft spot for Piedmont Park. Designed by Fred Olmsted, the man who gave us Central Park, Piedmont Park hosts multiple annual festivals and is also a great place to walk your dog, have a picnic and g for a stroll. The park also has a fantastic view of Midtown’s skyline.

Zoned schools within this area include Morningside Elementary School. This school has been open since 1929 and feeds into Inman Middle School and Henry W. Grady High School. In 2014, Grady High School’s score on the College and Career Readiness Performance Index (CCRPI) was 71.1.
