Cotting Court

Welcome to Cotting Court

While many condos in Midtown are all about chic, modern living, Cotting Court offers a little bit of history combined with present-day conveniences. It is built on the same location where the Cotting Estate, the home of a former Secretary of State’s widow, once sat. At the time, the Cottings were one of Georgia’s most prominent families. The building is home to 60 upscale condos within six stories, but do not let the size fool you. It still offers plenty of desirable luxury amenities.

Things to Do

History is a big deal in this part of Atlanta. As a matter of fact, Cotting Court sits practically next door to the Margaret Mitchell House and Museum, the home where Mitchell wrote Gone with the Wind. The Fox Theatre, located a few blocks south, is one of the city’s most beloved places, and it always has a Broadway show or a best-selling concert going on under the crystal “stars” that adorn the ceiling. The Woodruff Arts Center is also a great place to take in some culture. For days when you want to be outside, Piedmont Park and the Atlanta Botanical Garden are practically within walking distance of Cotting Court. And, of course, once you move in, you will want to try one of Midtown’s infamous restaurants, like Vortex Bar & Grill, Hudson Grille Midtown, and Empire State South.

Schools

Nearby schools include Springdale Park Elementary School, Inman Middle School, and Grady High School. Private schools in the area include The Children’s School, Midtown International School, and the Orion School. The Georgia Institute of Technology is not far from Cotting Court, and several other Atlanta higher education institutions, such as Emory University and Georgia State University, are just minutes away by car or public transportation.

Amenities

Cotting Court may be smaller than other condo buildings in the area, but it still offers plenty of luxury amenities. Some of these include a beautiful swimming pool, a fitness center, and a 24-hour concierge. The building is also a few quick steps from a MARTA station — Atlanta’s public transportation system — and offers pet walk areas, along with extra storage and controlled-access parking for all residents.

Inside Cotting Court

You will not find exposed pipes and concrete in Cotting Court as you would in some of the city’s ultra-contemporary condos. Instead, you will find hardwood floors, built-in bookcases, fireplaces and beautiful molding. Each spacious unit offers plenty of natural light, while many offer balconies and porches. Most of your utilities are included in the price of your homeowner’s association fees.
